Introduction

Workzinga is revolutionizing the hiring process through their two-way, pre-employment assessment: the Culture Fit Assessment.

As a start up, Workzinga recognizes the critical role of establishing themselves as a thought-leader in the industry as well as challenging the way organizations think about hiring and retention at large.

What We Did

Strategy & Ideation

The first priority for our team was to establish and maintain alignment with the Workzinga team. We achieved this with a shared Slack channel and bi-weekly meetings. A shared Slack channel has proved to be the move valuable too to establish a simple line of communication between our two teams. Whether it was answers to our team's questions or a new asset request by the Workzinga team, our communication always feels as if our team is just another team-member for Workzinga.

Content Production

Our team visited the Workzinga office monthly to produce fresh content for social media and other various marketing efforts. We collaborated with the Workzinga team in preperation for each month shoot, determining various topics and/or specific videos we would produce in that particular month.

Video Editing

The contract with Workzinga included unlimited video editing, so we edited as much content. This arrangment gave their team a significant amount of freedom, and allowed them to request and utilized as much video content as they could dream up! The goal of a Strategic Partnership is to remove the barrier to video content and just let them dream up what videos would be effective for their marketing objecives.

Workzinga seeks to be positioned as an orginization with a strong sense of the problems at large. These such pieces seek to humanize the orginization and show that they are much more than an algorithim, they are people who know (and have personally experienced) the challenges of job-seekers.

This video serves as the trailer video for the Workzinga YouTube channel page. This video's objective is to introduce viewers to who Workzinga is and drive a significant increase the subscriber base.

Dan is the founder of Workzinga, as such he is also in many ways the face as well. This type of content is targeted directly toward a fast paced, social media audience. The number one priority of these is that they be short and be clear in message.

Capturing these live, in-person conversations has proven to be a fun and authentic way to capture the story of what Workzinga is. Hearing Dan present to a real person who is actively engaging with him creates a very raw and different perspective than a typical in-office, polished marketing piece. 

The Fifth & Broad - Workzinga relationship is a great example of a Strategic Partnership built around a client who needed a large amount of content across different platforms and for different uses. Through a process of content capture and content creation, Workzinga has been able to meet their goals as they seek to transform the way companies do hiring.

The Need was Great

Workzinga’s primary ongoing need is the production of a large number of video content to become a loud and consistant online voice. For a startup, having built out social media channels, populated YouTube pages, as well as digital ads created for different platforms are all essential. The Strategic Partnership with Fifth & Broad has been tailored toward that end: capturing as much content as possible then consistantly and efficiently delivering video content to equip them with the resources they need to distribute as much content as possible.

The Execution was simple

Each month, the Fifth and Broad team films at the Workzinga office to capture interviews with key stakeholders as well as collect various b-roll around the office. This footage is then edited into smaller social media pieces (e.g. 15 - 30 seconds), as well as stand-alone videos for YouTube or the website (e.g. 2 - 3 minutes). By capturing as much content as possible, we create an extensive catalog of content for the Workzinga marketing team. In addition, as Workzinga attends various events and trade shows, Fifth & Broad attends and captures organic content that is used repurposed for social media distribution.
